Eric D. Holland
Eric D. Holland was born in 1965 in Illinois, growing up in a construction-trades family and working his way through college and law school as a laborer and brick layer. He attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He attended the St. Louis University School of Law, where he was elected to the Law Review, graduating in 1991. He is admitted to the state bars of Illinois, Missouri and Michigan as well as federal courts in Texas and Colorado, and has been admitted to practice in cases from Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Ohio, Iowa, and Arkansas.
Currently, he limits his practice to catastrophic railroad and transportation accidents, petroleum litigation and other complex commercial litigation. He has litigated cases in over 20 States. He is an active member of several trial attorney associations, has served on the Board of Governors for the Missouri Trial Attorneys, and is on the Steering Committee for the Midwestern Innocence Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to exonerating wrongly imprisoned people. Eric has been a frequent lecturer at seminars across the country and has authored multiple articles regarding litigation-related topics.
Outside of the firm, Eric is an avid outdoorsman, mountain biker and skier. He also coaches youth baseball and basketball throughout the year.
